SEA Hails Biden Administration Announcement of Presidential Rank Awards

WASHINGTON, DC –Today, Bob Corsi President of the Senior Executives Association (SEA) – the leading professional association responsible for representing, convening, and cultivating members of the Senior Executive Service (SES) and senior career leaders across the federal government – released the following statement reacting to the announcement of President Biden’s 2021 Presidential Rank Awardees:

“The Senior Executives Association is thrilled that President Biden has recognized 230 Senior Executives and Senior Professionals from 37 agencies across government with the Presidential Rank Award. Recognizing such a significant class of senior executives for their sustained excellence and demonstrated outcomes sends a powerful, encouraging signal to career leaders across government. Shining the spotlight of the Presidency on the most accomplished and impactful Senior Executives and Senior Professionals is one of the best ways the government has to convey the impact of federal agencies and programs every day,”Corsi said.

“Restoring the PRA program builds upon the vision of the President’s Management Agenda, which strongly puts the federal workforce at the core of delivering outcomes for the American people. While a welcome first step, SEA hopes that the President will be able to personally meet with and recognize this year’s outstanding PRA winners.”Corsi concluded.
