About the Program

The Senior Executives Association honors members who advance leadership excellence, strengthen public service, and contribute meaningfully to our community. Recognition begins with a formal Certificate of Appreciation and may expand to include other tokens of thanks as the program matures.

Purpose

This program provides a consistent and meaningful way to acknowledge members whose efforts move our mission forward. It reflects our gratitude, raises visibility for outstanding contributions, and fosters a culture that values career leaders.

Who We Recognize

Members may be recognized for:

• Leadership on SEA initiatives and events
• Service on committees or Communities of Practice
• Exceptional support during special projects or organizational milestones
• Innovations that improve the member experience or strengthen the Senior Executive community

How Recognition Works

1. Nomination

The nomination form will open at the official launch in Spring FY 2026. A member alert      will include the link.

2. Review

Nominations will be reviewed and approved by the SEA President or designee to confirm eligibility.

3. Preparation

Certificates will be personalized with the recipient’s name, date, presenter, and a brief statement recognizing the contribution.

4. Presentation

Whenever possible, recognition will be presented publicly at SEA events or virtually.

What Comes Next

• Form Availability: Opens Spring FY 2026 on this page
• Program Enhancements: SEA may introduce additional recognition items, such as an SEA coin, a lucite display featuring the SEA seal, or a personalized letter from SEA leadership, as the program evolves
